Barry has been on the Board of Directors of Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship for over 10 years. Ride On teaches adaptive horseback riding to children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities and we provide physical, occupational and speech therapy specializing in using the movement of the horse to improve specific medical conditions. Founded in 1994, Ride On has given over 93,000 safe, effective and individualized lessons and therapy treatments and currently serves 200 individuals each week. We operate in two locations: serving the Conejo Valley, our 13-acre Newbury Park site is operated in partnership with the Conejo Recreation and Park District; in the San Fernando Valley, Chatsworth is home to our 3-acre ranch which we own.

Barry helps support the many charities approved by Karma International, an organization he has been active in since 2012. KARMA International is an exclusive, private membership organization dedicated to connecting exceptional & inspirational individuals both socially & professionally. We are a collective of leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and adventurers who share and expand our spheres of influence.
Through a variety of experiential events, sensational parties & elite social gatherings, we empower our members to forge lasting bonds and friendships, thereby enriching each others lives, sharing business ideas and enhancing philanthropic causes.
We are actively seeking to discover individuals who resonate with our culture and add value to Karma.





During it's construction, Barry made a donation to the Valley Performing Arts Center at CSUN and is honored as a distinguished patron. Now in its sixth season, VPAC's mission is to present a wide variety of performances that not only includes new and original work from the Los Angeles region, but also work from around the world that appeals to all of LA's rich and diverse communities. The Valley Performing Arts Center’s 2016-17 Season signals a new era for the premiere event venue. Under the leadership of Executive Director Thor Steingraber, VPAC expands its programming and outstanding multi-disciplinary performances. The award-winning 1,700-seat theatre was designed by HGA Architects and Engineers and was recently cited by the Los Angeles Times as “a growing hub for live music, dance, drama and other cultural events.”
